The Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA) has announced the launch of the prestigious IFCA Star Awards 2026, inviting entries from across the packaging value chain to recognize excellence in innovation, sustainability, branding, technology, and manufacturing.
The awards provide a unique platform for converters, packaging manufacturers, machinery suppliers, material producers, and brand owners to showcase their achievements and gain industry-wide recognition.
Award Categories
The IFCA Star Awards 2026 will honor outstanding contributions across the following categories:
- Flexible Packaging: Innovations & Creativity including Shapes, New Applications and New Forms
- Carton Packaging: Innovations & Creativity including Shapes, New Applications and New Forms
- Tube Packaging: Innovations & Creativity including Shapes, New Applications and New Forms
- Structural Innovation & Graphic Design
- Innovations in Inks, Adhesives, Coatings, Polymers and Films
- Innovations in Converting Machinery, Packaging Machinery, Cylinders, FFS Machines and Printing Machines
- Best Branding through Packaging – Converters & FMCG Companies
- Innovations in R&D and Manufacturing Processes Leading to Cost Savings
- Innovations Leading to Sustainability
- Achievements in Recycling and Supporting the Circular Economy
Entry Process
Participants are required to submit a duly completed entry form, a brief write-up highlighting the product’s unique features and innovations, along with a physical sample. For machinery-related categories, photographs, videos, and a detailed write-up may be submitted in place of a sample.
Soft copies of the entries should be emailed to pffca01@gmail.com with the subject line “IFCA Star Awards 2026.” Physical copies, along with the applicable participation fees, must be couriered to the IFCA office.
Multiple entries across multiple categories are permitted, with each entry requiring a separate participation fee.
Participation Fees
- IFCA Members: ₹9,750 + 18% GST per entry
- Non-Members: ₹11,750 + 18% GST per entry
The completed entries and supporting documents must reach the association by 30 July 2026.
Judging Process
All entries will be evaluated by an eminent panel of industry experts. Only commercialized products are eligible for participation. The jury’s decision will be final and binding.
Participants are responsible for the ownership and authenticity of the information submitted. IFCA reserves the right to reject any entry that does not comply with the guidelines.
Winners’ Benefits
The winners will be felicitated at a grand awards ceremony attended by leading figures from the packaging and converting industry. Winning entries will receive trophies and certificates, while a special edition of the IFCA Newsletter featuring the award-winning innovations will be released during the event.
