Ahmedabad-based prepress specialist expands capacity and capabilities with new facility, colour management solutions and larger-format FLEXCEL NX platemaking.
Akshar NX Digital is strengthening its capabilities to serve the growing flexible packaging market with an investment in a new FLEXCEL NX 5080 System from Miraclon, as part of a wider geographical expansion strategy with a new location.
Scheduled for installation in January 2027, the FLEXCEL NX 5080 System will complement the FLEXCEL NX 4260 System currently operating at Akshar NX Digital’s existing Ahmedabad location. The company is also investing in colour management solutions, reflecting a renewed focus on building the prepress capabilities needed to support customers in the flexible packaging segment.
Ahead of the new FLEXCEL NX System installation, Akshar NX Digital has already installed a 5080-format processing and finishing line with LED exposure, providing increased productivity while enhancing consistency in plate production.
