Mr. V. S. Raveendran of Seljegat Printers Pvt. Ltd. takes over as President of the Label Manufacturers Association of India.
The Label Manufacturers Association of India (LMAI) has announced the appointment of Mr. V. S. Raveendran of of Seljegat Printers Pvt. Ltd. as its new President for a two-year term, effective 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2028.
LMAI is the leading industry association representing India’s label printing and converting fraternity. The association plays a pivotal role in promoting technological advancement, professional development, knowledge sharing and collaboration among label printers, converters, suppliers and other stakeholders across the country.
Over the years, LMAI has undertaken several initiatives aimed at strengthening the Indian label industry. These include technical seminars, regional knowledge-sharing programmes, shop-floor operator training, industry networking events and the prestigious LMAI Label Awards, which recognise excellence and innovation in label printing.
One of the association’s flagship initiatives is its biennial international conference, which brings together industry leaders, technology providers and experts from India and across the globe. The association also maintains strong relationships with international industry bodies, including FINAT, facilitating global knowledge exchange and greater international exposure for Indian label manufacturers.
New Office Bearers for 2026–2028
The newly appointed leadership team comprises:

* Honorary Secretary: Mr. Jaideep Singh from Zodiac Reprographics Pvt Ltd
* Treasurer: Mr. Sanjay Mehta from Metco Creations
Under the leadership of Mr. Raveendran, the new team will continue to build on LMAI’s strong foundation, with renewed emphasis on expanding membership, enhancing technical capabilities, encouraging innovation and sustainability, and strengthening India’s position in the global label printing industry.
The new leadership reiterates LMAI’s commitment to bringing the label fraternity together under a common platform for knowledge, collaboration and collective growth.
