Leading global manufacturer of surface treatment technology, Vetaphone, has announced a strategic move that will boost support for its worldwide customer base. The newly implemented plan, known as ‘Certified Service Partnerships’ (CSP) is designed to build local awareness and show customers that they have direct access to Vetaphone approved support and service assistance.
Speaking for Vetaphone, Support & Spare Parts Manager Anders Dueholm explained: “The aim is to bring Vetaphone support closer to our customers by strengthening the relationship between our local partners and the installed customer base, providing faster response times, better access to spare parts and an even higher level of service.”
The plan in action will mean the local agent becomes the first point of contact for Vetaphone customers. This will speed up response times to ensure that customers can maintain maximum up-time on their production equipment, whether that is a printing press, laminating line or extruder.
To achieve CSP status, agents will undertake an intensive training course at Vetaphone’s HQ in Denmark, with regular follow-ups to ensure their knowledge and skills are kept up to date with the latest developments.
Once certified, the agents will be equipped with a stock of critical and high-maintenance spare parts to provide instant support to their customers. CSP will also provide the framework for regular and routine maintenance scheduling to pre-empt disruptive and expensive production stoppages.
The whole scheme is supported and managed full-time by Vetaphone to ensure customer experience is continually improved, and by maintaining ongoing visibility of its customer base, the company and its agents can be more pro-active than before.
Concluding, Anders Dueholm said: “Vetaphone invented and has pioneered corona technology across a variety of market sectors – this is the latest stage of our ongoing commitment to improve local service and support for customers, wherever they are in the world.”
