It’s raining orders for Global Graphics Machineries Pvt. Ltd., the exclusive distributor for Weigang in India, as they signed up for a quartet of Weigang converting and finishing machines at the Labelexpo India 2024 with Holoflex Ltd., comprising of the fully servo-driven shaftless ZM-320 semi-rotary / intermittent die-cutting machine with it’s patented register die-cutting system as well as DK-450 slitting machines.

Zhejiang Weigang Technology Co. Ltd. is a stock market listed company under the symbol, SZ 001256 and has evolved as a major global player for label printing, converting and finishing equipments. Weigang has a highly sophisticated plant employing a workforce of around 400 people. Spread across a sprawling area of 135,000 square meters, Weigang’s state-of-the-art facilities produce equipments that are driven by cutting-edge technologies. Weigang has exported their machines to over 90 countries in the world, and globally installed over 3000 sets of semi-rotary / intermittent web-offset presses and 500 sets of modular in-line shaftless servo flexo printing machines with innovative sleeve technology.

Spanning an enduring 25 years of long presence in India with around 1200+ installations and 350+ customers in nearly 80 different locations across the country, Weigang’s printing, converting and finishing machines are the preferred choice for their precision, quality and consistency in performance.

Weigang builds full rotary as well as intermittent UV offset label presses, flexographic label printing machines – both full servo modular in-line with sleeve technology as well as tower/stack type presses, digital printing machines and silk screen printing machines for the roll-to-roll printing applications. The web-fed converting and finishing machines manufactured by Weigang includes the flat bed die-cutting machines apart from converting, finishing and slitting/inspection machines.

The ZM series of Weigang’s intermittent die-cutting machines are driven by the German Rexroth Bosch servo systems featuring pneumatic roll lifter, load-cell based web tension control systems from Japanese Mitsubishi brand, “patented registered die-cutting unit” with American Rotometrics magnetic cylinder and anvil roller. The machine facilitates 2nd pass die-punching in register without changing the magnetic cylinder tools due to the semi-rotary technology. The software allows die cutting precisely in MM providing added advantage, instead of the repeat length corresponding to the teeth size which is typically followed in other technologies. This equipment can be custom-built in a combination of 15 different inline functions for the digital finishing machine and is also used for the IML
die-cutting.

Holoflex enhances their legacy of excellence with this new Weigang ZM-320 semi-rotary / intermittent die-cutting machine acquisition. The new capabilities will allow Holoflex to offer tailored security solutions that reflect the unique identity of each brand it serves. Since 1991, Holoflex has protected brand reputation and enhanced packaging aesthetics with holographic and security printed effects.

Holoflex has set the standard in brand protection for over 30 years. This longstanding commitment is rooted in delivering high-quality solutions that create a lasting impression while safeguarding brand integrity.

Manoj Kochar, Director, Holoflex Ltd. says, “In line with the Holoflex legacy, we are acquiring Weigang’s advanced ZM-320 converting and finishing equipment which will further enhance our ability to deliver precise, customizable solutions with increased efficiency. This strategic investment underscores Holoflex’s dedication to innovation, quality and excellence, and ensuring that clients benefit from both enhanced security and a visually captivating packaging experience.”
