At LabelExpo Europe 2023, a host of leading Indian companies showcased state-of-the-art label and packaging printing technologies such as advanced printing presses, digital solutions, automation systems, etc, highlighting innovations that improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness that draw visitors’ attention.
UV Graphic seals multiple deals
UV Graphic stole the show at LabelExpo Europe 2023 as the company pulled crowds to its line of flagship products comprising label printing machines and flexo plates. Abhay Datta, Director, UV Graphic Technologies Pvt Ltd, informed that they infolded a new revolution in label printing at the offshore expo with a handful of machines being sold.
He continued, “Our exhibits at LabelExpo Europe 2023 offered new standpoint in label printing and converting. We are quite excited to announce that we have sold 4 twin-servo label presses and 9 flexo plates during the expo.” UV Graphic’s line of machines comprises UV coating & curing machines and flexographic label presses for customers around the globe. The line consists of Ultraflex USR, Ultraflex Pony Hot Foil Stamping Machine, Ultraflex Pony Die Cutting Machine, Pony IML (In-Moid Label) Die Cutting, etc.
Monotech Systems forays into Brazil
A latest development from Monotech Systems, the company at LabelExpo Europe 2023 officially inked partnership agreement with the Brazilian company VS Label, a part of
ViniSul Group. The agreement was signed by TP Jain, Managing Director, Monotech Systems Limited and Paulo Hubner, CEO, ViniSul Group.
Incepted in the year 1995, VS Label has been one of the largest distributors of digital printing equipments and others in the Brazilian label printing market. The company’s collaboration with Monotech Systems will boost and diversify its product portfolio with the addition of the latter’s highly versatile and most acclaimed Jetsci Global, an inkjet marvel for the printing and packaging industry.

Creative Graphics, a leader in flexo plate processing technology, has been committed to meeting the need of high quality that its clients require to beat the challenges and provide exceptional packaging pre-press service. At LabelExpo Europe 2023, the company exhibited the excellence and prowess of its digital flexo plates for pre and post-printing on corrugated materials.
Crossing across the segments in flexographic printing, viz. flexible packaging, labels and corrugation, Creative Graphics at the expo presented plates of various thicknesses. Over the years, the corrugation industry has been consistently growing. In the label industry, UV flexo is a much-preferred choice. Acme Rolltech unveils ATAC-2.0 roll
Acme Rolltech unveil its latest product, the ATAC-2.0 or ACME TActile roll, at the Labelexpo Europe 2023.
The new roll incorporates advanced engraving technology, which can achieve even better results compared to the previous ATAC version. Acme Roll tech has recently expanded its manufacturing capacity by investing in a new engraving machine and post-processing equipment, and has developed specialised rolls keeping in mind the specific requirements of its customers around the globe.

IEEC Power Electronics to showcase Corona treaters with an Ozone Destruction System

This treatment helps in improving ink adhesion, coating, and laminating. IEEC developed new “OZONASH”- Ozone destruction system to neutralise Ozone into air. During Corona Treatment, high concentration ozone is produced, which is harmful to human health and to the environment. Ozonash uses a highly efficient metal oxide catalyst and pre-filter combination to reduce ozone to air. Alliance Printech to demonstrate Kolorsmart+ Digital Press

HP introduces two revolutionary presses
HP Graphic Arts launched two revolutionary presses at LabelExpo Europe 2023. The presses were HP Indigo V12 and HP Indigo 200K. In a nutshell, HP Indigo V12 is a press designed to print label at the speed of 120 m/min. It’s ideally engineered to change the conventional way label companies print labels. On other hand, HP Indigo 200K is the most sustainable press till date for the
flexible packaging industry.
HP Indigo 200K is the successor to the HP Indigo Series 4 presses, HP Indigo 20000 and
25K digital presses. These HP digital presses have dominated the digital flexible packaging market up until now. Also, showcasing for the first time in Europe, the other high-speed HP Indigo V12 digital press has established HP Indigo 6K digital press.
Gallus presents ‘Gallus One’ label press
Gallus, a subsidiary of Heidelberg, celebrated its 100 Years Anniversary in business at the expo, also the opening of its Gallus Experience Center. The groundbreaking Gallus One digital label press was launched in 2022, specifically designed to remove the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) barrier for the adoption of reel-to-reel digital labels. With the highest level of automation and cloud-based technologies, the press is designed to provide brands with access to cost effective, sustainable, and high quality digital labels.
Built on the company’s highly acclaimed Gallus Labelmaster press platform, Gallus One is a 340-mm roll-to-roll UV inkjet digital inline label press. It utilises a host of impressive features to achieve high levels of automation and press efficiency, with unrivalled UV inkjet print quality and stand-out print speeds of up to 70m/min.
Konica Minolta demonstrates five running systems
Konica Minolta pulled crowds during LabelExpo Europe 2023 as there were five running systems at its stand. One of the five machines was the AccurioLabel 400, a single-pass digital press that was launched last year. Another involved the toner-based AL 230 press, an entry-level press being configured with MGI’s DC 330 Mini. Also there was MGI JETvarnish 3D Web Compact and Octopus web machines, together with Konica Minolta’s PKG-1300.
The five running machines at the colossal stand of Konica Minolta are designed for broad range of applications for corrugated manufacturers, converters, printers and brand owners looking for short-run digital inkjet label and box printing. Konica Minolta also presented its state-of-the-art GrafiskMaskinfabrik (GM) software and service capabilities alongside its competence of machines at LabelExpo Europe 2023.
The next edition of LabelExpo in 2025 will be headed to Fira de Barcelona, Spain.
