S Kumar-Zonten has sold its advanced Zonten Cat-Eye ZIP-350 Auto Inspection System, equipped with 4K line camera technology, to Samyak India, Pune. The deal is announced at LOUPE India 2026, being held at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.
Samyak India is a long-standing customer of S Kumar-Zonten. Two years ago, the company invested in an IML intermittent die-cutting machine and a high-speed slitter from S Kumar-Zonten. The Cat-Eye order marks its third purchase from the company, further strengthening the business relationship and demonstrating its continued confidence in S Kumar-Zonten’s technology and support.
S Kumar-Zonten expressed its gratitude to Rajendra Kothari of Samyak India for his continued trust and confidence in the company and its Zonten product range.
The latest installation marks a significant milestone for the Cat-Eye range, which has now reached 10 installations across India within just 12 months. This growing adoption reflects the system’s accuracy, reliability and value proposition for the Indian label printing and converting industry.
Commenting on the latest order, Manish Hansoti, Managing Director of S Kumar-Zonten, said, “Repeat orders from existing customers are a strong endorsement of our technology and the trust we have built over the years. Samyak India’s decision to invest in the Cat-Eye ZIP-350 reflects the growing importance of automated inspection and quality control in label manufacturing. With its advanced 4K line camera technology, the Cat-Eye helps converters achieve consistent inspection accuracy, minimise errors and improve overall production efficiency. Reaching 10 installations in India within 12 months is an encouraging milestone for us, and we look forward to bringing this technology to more converters across the country.”
The company believes that the Cat-Eye’s growing installed base in India reflects the increasing demand for automated quality inspection solutions among label converters, as manufacturers place greater emphasis on print quality, production consistency and reduced material wastage.
