Newgen Printronics had magnificent achievement at LabelExpo India 2022

Exhibiting at LabelExpo India 2022, Newgen Printronics finalized several deals for various machinery.

Established in 2014, Newgen Printronics India Pvt. Ltd. offers world-class printing and converting solutions for the labels and packaging industry. Managed by highly experienced professionals from the printing & packaging segment, the Printronics team has excellent know-how in various printing and converting processes for labels and flexible packaging segments.

The company exhibited its latest products at LabelExpo India, in hall no.7 at stall P13. They received an exceptional response from the visitors and made a few deals closer. We spoke to Selvaraj Venkatesh, Managing Director for Printronics, about their offering to the Label industry and deals that were finalised in the expo.

Speaking about the Label industry, he said, “Label industry is growing and emerging. Even during Covid, we had a reputable business. We promote all our brands across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, except Omet which we promote only in south india and sri lanka. We offer complete printing and converting solution for labels and the flexible packaging industries.

 

Newgen Printronics finalized the below deals at LabelExpo India 2022:

– Packers Automated Punching Machine for IML and Beer Labels for Moldtek and Hatsun Agro

– Polly Automatics for converting Labels and IML’s for TM Printers, Skanem, Homemade Bakers

– Dayun for Ice Cream Cone sleeve forming machine for Kapcones and Hatsun agro

– Hybrid Durst Digital Press RSCi 510 mm width, 8 color digital and 2 flexo presses for special Applications (Client name and applications will be disclosed after installation)

DURST Digital Label Printing Press

He said about Durst’s digital printing press, “we are much focused on promoting the Durst Digital Label printing press, which is our flagship product. We have installed 4 Dust Digital Label machines in India; 2 presses in Astron packaging at their Ahmedabad and Dubai plants, one each at 3D New Pack, Silvassa, and Mahavir Impex, Bangalore. Few more machines will be installed by the first quarter of 2023.”

Product Manager for Durst Phototechnik, Martin Leitner said, ‘Durst is a company active in digital printing, not just in labels but also and large format ceramics and other printing businesses. Overall we have more than 4200 -4300 digital presses around the world. Talking about just digital label machines, we have 420 to 430 machines worldwide. There are three different models of Durst Label Printing Press. The quality delivered is the same with all models, so we emphasis on high print quality.

Digital Printing in India

He added, “India is an interesting market that is growing, and the mindset of the people is also changing to digital, so I think it is an attractive market with many potentials. We are happy to partner with Newgen Printronics. With this tie-up, we see a good market entry and very positive projects.’

He said about the growth prospects of Digital Printing, “I see a solid future in digital printing. It offers much flexibility it helps to reduce the cost of printing. Also, in terms of sustainability, digital is effective because there is zero ink waste, zero material waste, no cleaning, no tooling, and much less energy consumption, so if all these points are get together, you see digital is the technology of tomorrow. We offer a competitive technology not just in quality and productivity but also at the end of the line TCO, which works well with the customers, and they are making money with the machine. We have customers with repeat purchases.”

“We are happy with the response from the show, we were there last time, and we will also be there in the next edition of Label Expo. We want to show technology and India has significant potential,” Martin concluded.
