Celebrating its successful 150 years of journey in imaging innovations, Konica Minolta at the LMAI Conference 2023 proclaimed its aim of supplying the most relevant and sustainable solutions to the digital label printing industry. “Since 1873, Konica Minolta has been an innovator of the most efficient technologies that never impact the environment,” remarked Mr Manish Gupta, National Marketing Manager – PP & IP, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt Ltd.
Since the onset of the era of digital press, Konica Minolta has been maintaining a vision to always establish a supply chain business shifting from analogue to digital. In this respect, Mr Gupta heralded that the company’s ultimate mission is to provide effective digital printing solutions based on the perspective of printers and brand owners. He mentioned that the current global label market which was valued US$ 41.75 billion in 2021 is continued to grow exponentially.
He further mentioned that the current growth in the global label industry is estimated to achieve 6 percent annual growth rate. In this current growth trajectory, he revealed that digital labels have 18 percent share of end users’ overall label expenditures, which is likely to be more than 30 percent by 2025. He brought on stage the vitality of the newly launched Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 400 digital label press in his keynote presentation, shedding lights on the special features of the digital label press.
Being the latest addition to Konica Minolta’s line of digital label presses, AccurioLabel 400 boasts productivity at the speed up to 39.9 m/min, offering benefits of automated colours and density control. This new press is highly user friendly and capable to take up a broad range of substrates for wider applications using its 5th Colour Station with white ink in print resolution of 1200×2400 dpi.
