Konica Minolta used this as an opportune moment to showcase their state-of-the-art printers, such as Industrial printers (IP) and Professional Printers (PP), In IP, AccurioLabel 230, AccurioShine 3600, along with their digital die-cutting solutions and Professional Printer (PP) AccurioPress C12000 with IQ-501. At the event, we spoke to Katsuhisa Asari, Managing Director Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., about the Konica Minolta business in India.

India – A land of Opportunities

He said, ‘India has recovered from the Covid impact and economic crisis very quickly, whereas the world is still struggling. The business has opened up in the last 20 months, and there has been a shift from Analog to Digital printing. This year, we are expecting to cross all the sales records and expect to reach new highs in terms of turnover growth. India is becoming Rising Star. Everybody knows India is now the top 5 nation for investments, so after China, everybody sees the business opportunity in the Indian market. Not only from the government level but also from the corporate level, everybody is paying more attention in India.’ 

Digital Printing continues to Grow

Manish Gupta, National Marketing Manager – PP & IP at Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt Ltd said, ‘Digital Short-Run printing will grow, not only in commercial but also in labels and packaging business. The print volume is increasing in Digital. Over time, digital Printing will get more priority for short-run Printing.
