Jindal Films Europe announces a further expansion of its facility in Brindisi, Italy. It will increase the site’s bio-oriented polyethylene film (BOPE) capacity by 50,000 tons per year. “With a new total capacity of 130,000 tons, Brindisi will be the largest factory in Europe for the production of BOPE and BOPP films. As a subsidiary of the Indian Jindal Poly Films, Jindal Films produces films for flexible packaging and labels. The manufacturer is based in Macedon (New York), USA and Luxembourg and has five factories in Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Italy), two in the USA and one in India.
