Echaar has established a strong presence in the printing industry, driven by its commitment to precision and innovation. Specializing in high-performance machinery, particularly C.I. Flexo presses, the company serves large-scale printing operations while prioritizing cutting-edge technology and stringent quality standards. Their dedication to manufacturing reliable, world-class products has solidified their reputation for excellence in the industry. Recently, at the 12th ElitePlus Films and Flexible Packaging Conference, Echaar showcased their diverse range of presses. We had the opportunity to speak with Kirti Panchal, Marketing Director, and Utpal Pathak, Business Development Manager, to gain insights into their offerings and vision for the future.

Speaking about the new development, Kirti Panchal said, “We are excited to announce that we have developed a range of high-end CI Flexo models, including several options tailored for CI presses. A significant highlight of our offering is the new Inline Coating Station, which provides the capability to coat either the surface side or reverse side of materials. This station supports various applications, such as reverse met varnish coating, all while maintaining excellent registration accuracy. With the flexibility to utilize different coating methods—Flexo Coating, Gravure Coating, UV Coating, and more—our inline coating station meets diverse coating needs. Notably, we have successfully delivered a press equipped with this innovative inline coating technology to a client in Sri Lanka, showcasing our commitment to quality and precision in printing solutions.”

Talking about their up-coming machines, he added “We are excited to announce the construction of five new CI flexo presses, with the first machine set to be exported to Sri Lanka. In addition, we are producing two machines for our Indian clients and two for our international clientele. Our commitment to quality has seen significant improvements, enabling our customers to achieve printing resolutions exceeding 300 LPI, marking a major milestone for us. The samples printed at this resolution demonstrate our advancements. Furthermore, DuPont recently conducted a successful trial on our machine featuring their new Force technology, yielding excellent results.”

“We are currently in the process of developing five advanced printing machines tailored to various specifications and customer needs. First, we are building a nine-colour Flexo Smart HR 300 machine with a width of 1 metres. This model features eight colour CI downstream and one colour downstream coating unit, which can also function as a printing station. Additionally, a similar machine with a width of 1.2 metres is being constructed for export, specifically designed with the coating unit, as it is frequently requested by our export customers. Furthermore, we are working on a 400 speed Flexo Delight machine for a customer in Chennai, alongside the CI Flexo HR 200 model and the FlexoMaster HR 600. Each of these machines represents our commitment to quality and innovation in the printing industry.”

“In the past year, we successfully installed a total of five machines, including two CI flexo presses, one solventless lamination machine, and one stack flexo press. The installations took place at various locations: one CI flexo press at Baroda, SAFECO, another at Shridhar Packaging in Daman, a lamination machine at P Flex in Ludhiana, Punjab, and the stack flexo press in Sangli, Maharashtra. As we look forward to this year, we anticipate the addition of five more machines to our capabilities, reinforcing our steady growth in the industry. Furthermore, we take pride in being a technically advanced company, continuously developing superior machines with improved technologies, quality, performance, and service focus.” Kirti Concludes.
