The inaugural India roadshow of drupa 2024, the world’s leading trade event for printing and packaging technologies, kicked off at the JW Marriott Hotel in Mumbai on December 12.

The purpose of the event was to educate and inspire the Indian printing and packaging community about the impending industry showcase. It was a prelude to the main exhibition, which will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany from May 28 to June 7, 2024.

The event was opened by two experienced Indian industry professionals, Amit Shah of the Bombay Master Printers’ Association and Prakash Canser of Mumbai Mudrak Sangh. Amit Shah highlighted the significance of drupa and urged guests to organize their stay strategically for optimal advantage.

For drupa 2024, Sabine Geldermann of Messe Düsseldorf revealed some amazing participation figures. China leads with 291 players among the 50 nations that have been confirmed, followed by Germany with 252. 74 enterprises from India have reserved 4,618 square meters of exhibition space, almost twice as much as during the previous Drupa.

The purpose of these roadshows is to raise public awareness of Drupa 2024 and to entice Indian businesses and individuals to participate.
