“This is the third time we have participated in the show. The PlastIndia exhibition is above our expectations, as we have not expected such a beautiful response. The visitors are interested in our product, as there is a good demand for our product in the market. This year we have extended our portfolio product a bit and added MDC doctor blades for gravure printing.”
Speaking about the innovation in relation with market penetration, he added, “Every year, we bring new innovative products into the market, and that’s one of the reasons why we are one of the leading blade manufacturers in the world. The demand is increasing after the pandemic. We have a bit of competition with the local manufacturers for uncoated and standard regular doctor blades. But we have a quality advantage, as we produce the blades with a European production method. All our doctor blades are well-checked and tested before delivering to the customers. We can give 100% assurance in the quality. The coated doctor blades are produced only in Switzerland.”

Talking about the price stability challenge, he added, “We have challenges in Europe, as due to war, the raw material prices are increased. The most important test for us is to maintain price fluctuation in the market for doctor blades, but so far, we have been able to keep the price stability in India. We are planning to install more machines in India for manufacturing doctor blades.
