BOBST has made impressive strides in its sustainability journey, as shown by its recent EcoVadis ratings.

In 2023, the company earned a silver medal with a score of 63, placing it in the top 20% of companies. This achievement underscored BOBST’s dedication to sustainability, with significant improvements in labor and human rights policies, health and safety measures, employee representation, ISO certifications, and carbon footprint reduction.

Building on this success, BOBST has continued to enhance its sustainability strategy. In 2024, the company received an even higher sustainability rating of 69 from EcoVadis, maintaining its silver medal status and advancing to the top 15% of companies. This new score not only reflects BOBST’s ongoing efforts but also positions the company significantly above the industry benchmark of 51.

“The improving EcoVadis scores reflect the fantastic progress we are making with our sustainability strategy,” said Sylvain Lieb, Head of Corporate Sustainability at BOBST. This recognition highlights BOBST’s unwavering commitment to addressing global issues through science-based approaches and its continuous pursuit of excellence in sustainability.

What is EcoVadis?

Founded in 2007, EcoVadis is a global provider of sustainability ratings to more than 120,000 companies worldwide, including multinationals such as Nestle, LVMH, and Johnson & Johnson. Companies must undergo a process of questioning relevant to their business field and activities and prove their declarations. They are then given a global score calculated from the aggregation of four categories: Labor & Human Rights, Environment, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
