Printgraph Converting Machinery, a Mumbai-based company along with Macrt and Perfect Printgraph Engineers, has launched a digital label printer at the 15th Printpack India. The machine known as TruWo will meet the demands of the printing and packaging industry, which is looking for complementing technology to add to its existing print capabilities. Also, the founder of Printgraph Converting Machinery, Hiten Mehta, is one of the leading machine manufacturers in India.
The manager of Printgraph, Pratik Shah, said that, “we are tied-up with 7 different companies for marketing their products, we wanted to offer multiple solutions to the industry, TruWo is meant for entry-level segments of the label market. Most digital label printers are affordable for top-tier printers. However, the market conditions are changed, and it requires printers that will have all types of technologies at their disposal. As a result, Printgraph introduced the concept of the TruWo machine, which is not costly but simultaneously will not compromise the quality.”
After a tripartite collaboration, TruWo was planned out where the ideas have been conceptualized by Printgraph Converting Machinery.
The machine is built by Printgraph Engineers, and the printing head has been supplied by Macart. It is a made-in-India machine.
The width of TruWo is 330 millimeters with a feature to process self-adhesive paper and coated films of 350 microns as the maximum media thickness. The machine has received a great response since the day it was unveiled. The company aims to cover the Indian as well as international markets.
