Ahmedabad-based Letra Graphix has gained its most prized possession ever by becoming India’s first owner of Gallus Labelfire 340 hybrid label press. The company makes this landmark investment in the ultramodern label press that combines flexibility and versatility of digital printing to churn on unprecedented varieties of substrates, offering more appealing labels in unforeseen and exciting looks.

Gallus Labelfire 340 is indeed a true hybrid label press with an end-to-end logical operating concept that integrates digital printing with conventional printing and further processing. Labels on this press are produced inline in a single production operation from the unprinted roll to the matrix-stripped end product.

Equipped with the power of hybrid, digital flexibility and maximum integration for ultimate productivity, Gallus Labelfire 340 is a 4-colour (plus optional white) or 8-colour inkjet system, designed perfectly to deliver up to 94 percent of simulated Pantone Plus colour scale in vibrant and outstanding print outputs in a native resolution of 1200×1200 dpi delivered at the maximum speeds up to 70 m/min.

A subsidiary of Heidelberg Druckmaschinen, Gallus Group at the recent Interpack 2023 in Düsseldorf launched Gallus UVF01 ink set—a new set of inks that can be folded without cracking. Compatibly designed for Gallus Labelfire 340, the newly released Gallus UVF01 ink set will empower converters to exploit all the advantages of digital printing, which include short-run production, personalisation, visualisation, reduced waste and storage, especially for cosmetic applications and packaging.
