Ako Flexo LLP exhibited their servo-driven Flexo Label Press at the 15th edition of PrintPack India that took place at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, from May 26 to 30, 2022. The press caught the visitors’ attention and received a great response during the show.
Shail Patel, the 32-year-old director of Marketing of Ako Flexo LLP, who collaborated with Chinese and Canadian brands, was happy throughout the show and said, “the printing industry is vibrant. It was the first time they got a chance to showcase a live running model of Flexo Servo Label Press at PrintPack India 2022.”
“This new model has applications for shrink sleeves, in-mould labels, adhesive labels, flexible packaging, and wrap-around BOPP labels. It was launched last year in India with a price range of Rs 2.20 crore, and we have already sold five presses.”
According to Patel, there are similar types of machines manufactured in India, but the quality and performance of their machines are comparatively better. Also, the press is robust compared to European machines, and it can be configured with LED UV.
Ako Flexo is a dual servo machine, which means it is highly configurable i.e., screen, flexo, offset, rotogravure, foiling, digital all printing options are possible.
Shail Patel said that they are offering European performance at an Indian price and are inviting printers to have a look at their model in the demo center in Mehsana, Gujarat.
