New-generation tactile and high-density white solutions, ACE engraving technology and a two-year warranty highlight the company’s offering for label and packaging converters.
Acme Rolltech, an Indian manufacturer of ceramic anilox rolls and sleeves, will showcase its latest engraving technologies and speciality anilox solutions at LOUPE India 2026. The company’s focus is on helping label and packaging converters improve print quality, create value-added embellishments and enhance production efficiency while optimising equipment and inventory requirements.
The company will present advanced versions of its Acme Tactile Anilox ATAC 3.0 and Acme High Density White AHDW 3.0 technologies, alongside its ACE (Advanced Channel Engraving) technology. These solutions address the growing demand for distinctive print effects, high-opacity white reproduction and consistent ink transfer across labels, flexible packaging, pouches and wrap-around applications.
ATAC 3.0 and AHDW 3.0 for Value-Added Printing
Acme Rolltech’s ATAC 3.0 is designed to produce screen-like raised tactile effects, enabling converters to add a distinctive sensory dimension to printed packaging. Such effects can help brands enhance shelf appeal and product differentiation, particularly in applications where premium presentation and visual impact are important.
The AHDW 3.0 technology, meanwhile, is developed for high-opacity white printing. Effective white ink deposition is particularly important in label and flexible packaging applications involving transparent, metallic or other challenging substrates, where opacity and colour reproduction can influence the final appearance of the printed design.
Acme Rolltech plans to demonstrate samples of these technologies at the exhibition, allowing visitors to assess their potential for different packaging applications. According to the company, it has already supplied more than 300 speciality aniloxes to the market.
ACE Technology Combines Halftone Quality with High Ink Density
Another key highlight will be Acme Rolltech’s ACE (Advanced Channel Engraving) technology, which is designed to combine halftone printing performance with high ink density.
Conventional channel engraving solutions can sometimes require changes to prepress settings or the preparation of new printing plates when production requirements change. Such adjustments can add complexity, cost and preparation time, particularly for converters handling multiple SKUs and frequent job changes.
Acme Rolltech’s ACE technology aims to address this challenge by combining the advantages of channel engraving with halftone printing capabilities. The company states that its solution can be supplied using conventional LPI (lines per inch) and BCM (billion cubic microns) specifications, helping converters avoid plate changes associated with the technology.
For label and flexible packaging printers, this approach could provide greater flexibility in managing print requirements while maintaining ink density and image quality.
Live Demonstrations and a Two-Year Warranty
Visitors to the Acme Rolltech stand will be able to examine samples showcasing the company’s speciality anilox technologies. Selected solutions are also scheduled to be demonstrated on OEM flexographic presses during the exhibition.
A further highlight is the company’s introduction of a two-year warranty on all new aniloxes, which it describes as an industry-first initiative. The warranty, together with its focus on delivery and service support, is intended to provide additional assurance to converters investing in anilox technology.
As printers manage shorter production runs, increasing SKU diversity, tighter delivery schedules and continuing cost pressures, anilox selection and inventory management have become important operational considerations. Acme Rolltech is focusing on solutions that can help converters optimise their anilox requirements without compromising print quality.
Supporting the Next Phase of Packaging Innovation
With brands seeking greater differentiation and converters looking to improve productivity, advanced anilox technology is becoming an important part of the flexographic printing equation. Developments in tactile effects, high-opacity white printing and specialised engraving can expand the range of applications available to printers while supporting more efficient production workflows.
Sandeep Sharma, director of Acme Rolltech, said the company takes pride in being a pioneer in the manufacture of ceramic anilox rolls and sleeves in India. He emphasised its commitment to bringing advanced anilox manufacturing technologies to the domestic market and strengthening India’s position in the global printing and packaging industry.
Sharma expects sustainability and value-added embellishments to remain important industry trends over the next two to three years.
At LOUPE India 2026, Acme Rolltech will demonstrate how its latest anilox developments can help converters explore new print possibilities, respond to evolving brand requirements and deliver greater value to their customers.
