The Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Cartons Manufacturers Association (IFCA) will be hosting its annual Star Awards event on Friday, 27 October 2023 at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), BKC, Mumbai.
These awards are an excellent opportunity to recognise and celebrate achievements and innovations in the flexible packaging and folding cartons industry. The IFCA Star Awards provide a prestigious platform to showcase the creativity and innovation of the industry’s top players. Last year’s event saw a tremendous enthusiasm from participants across various categories, with IFCA receiving numerous entries.
“We are delighted to announce the IFCA Star Awards 2023. This year, we have nine categories for applications and look forward to a gala event,” said Chandrasekhar Rajagopalan, president of IFCA.
The award categories for Star Awards 2023 include Flexible and Carton Packaging: Flexible Packaging: Innovations, creativity including shapes, new applications and new forms Carton Packaging: Innovations, creativity including shapes, new applications, new forms, structural innovation and graphic design. The awards also include categories for achievements in recycling and supporting circular economy, branding categories, innovations, and student categories.
IFCA, a pan-India association that has been addressing the packaging industry’s needs for the past five decades, will host the Award function in the presence of industry leaders. The glittering ceremony will see trophies and certificates presented to the winners. The winners will be intimated separately after adjudication is complete. On the occasion of the IFCA Star Awards ceremony, a special edition of the IFCA newsletter will be released.
The packaging industry in India has made great strides in the last two decades by offering innovative and cost-effective solutions to the problems faced by end industries. Creativity and innovation have become key to sustaining the industry. Since packaging companies encompass inks, adhesives, print, films, and machinery, the concept of innovation and creativity becomes a force multiplier. Allied industries also act as a catalyst for creativity and innovation.
